Many opportunities are available for recreation in the Honea Path area.  The former Hammett School is now used as a facility for the town of Honea Path.  Activities such as football, softball, T-ball, cheerleading, gymnastics, and karate are based at the Recreation Center.  A swimming pool is also available during warm weather. Senior Citizens use the facility for their meetings.  In addition to the Recreation Center the town of Honea Path also has two parks open to the public year round.

Baton & Pom Combination

Baton twirling skills, dance, twirl, and Pom Pom dance.

Ages 4-18

Baseball

Age groups: 8 and under; 10 and under; 12 and under; 14 and under.

Cheerleading Classes

Learn cheers, chants, jumps, stunts and tumbling.
Ages 5-18

Football

Age Groups:  8 and under; 10 and under; 12 and under

Registration will be held July 11 to July 20

3~6pm on normal business days.

The olympic size Chiquola Swimming Pool is open during the summer time and is available to the general public during normal hours of operation. The pool may be reserved for special events by individuals/groups. On occasion, swimming lessons or other organized activities may be available.  For pool season dates, times, admission fees, or other pool information call the Recreation Center.

Tap and Ballet Combination

Learn fundamental ballet techniques and upbeat tap.
Ages 5-7

Youth Day Camp  

Held at the Recreation Center
Ages 6-12.  
Camp is free
Activities include arts & crafts, frog races, swimming

kick ball, water balloons, hikes, and much more.
